McCain Yorkshire Coast 10k Road Race

Followed by 2.5K Fun Run at 11:30am

Race HQ and Start/Finish is at Scarborough Spa Complex, South Bay. Scarborough. YO11 2HD

A completely traffic free course around Scarborough’s Marine Drive (on closed roads).
A flat course on the spectacular Yorkshire Coast – including Scarboroughs’ historic South Bay seafront, Marine Drive, through the Open Air Theatre and the North Bay Promenade (SeaLife centre) and back to the Spa.

Entry Limit: 1500

Entries close Monday 22nd October 2012 (or earlier if 1500 limit reached)

No entries on the day for the 10k race.

Entry Fees:-
Unaffiliated: (Non-member of UKA affiliated club) £13.50
Affiliated: (Member of a UKA affiliated club) £11.50
Accurate electronic chip timing from start to finish.

Facilities
Baggage storage for runners.
Changing area for Male and Female runners.
Toilets and Refreshments available at the newly refurbished Spa Complex.
First Aid post and a fully Marshalled course.
Water station at 4km.
Quality technical T-shirt to all finishers.

Maximum time limit for 10k course of 85 minutes.
A sweep vehicle will follow the last runner at this pace.
Any runner falling behind the vehicle will be asked to move on to the pavement or retire.
This is due to road closure timings.

We regret that the course is not suitable for wheelchairs due to a cobbled section on Marine Drive

Minimum age – 15 years old on race day.
