Race Description

Built by the Tyneside industrialist and inventor Lord Armstrong, the 1,000 acre Cragside estate with its formal garden, woods and open moorland is the ideal location for this exhilarating and challenging race.

All participants get: a goodie bag, T-shirt, energy drink and vouchers for other races.

Prizes: 1st, 2nd and 3rd male and female runners home; women 35 plus and men 40 plus in five year bands.

There will be additional prizes for 1st male team (UKA affiliated clubs, for position of first three male runners from club) and 1st female team (UKA affiliated clubs, for position of first three female runners from club).

Special prize for the first Northumbrian-born lad and lass to cross the finishing line.
