ARCHIVED RACE: Third Annual Trinity Berwyn 5K Run/Walk and Pancake Breakfast @ Trinity Presbyterian Church, Berwyn, PA, United States on 28 April 2012

Trinity Presbyterian Church, Berwyn, PA is sponsoring its Third Annual 5K Run/Walk and Pancake Breakfast to celebrate its 150 years of existence beginning January 4, 2013.

The past 2 years, the event has drawn participants with ages ranging from 2 to 77, involved in running and walking through the streets of Berwyn and enjoying the community of other runners, walkers, and families during the pancake breakfast.

This years event is scheduled for Saturday, April 28, 2012 at 9.00am and is open to the public. Registration fee per runner/walker is $25.00, $30.00 the day of the race. Augusta wicking T-Shirts guaranteed to all who register by April 18th.

$75 cash prizes will be awarded to the top male & female finishers, plus Commemorative Medals to the 1st place male and female runners in eight different age groups, 14 & under through 70 & over.

The 5K Run/Walk begins at 9AM at the church parking lot, winds through the neighborhoods and rolling hills of Berwyn, to be followed by a free pancake breakfast at the church.

Participants can register online by visiting the official 5K website at www.berwyntrinity5k.org or downloading the registration form available online. Registration forms are also available at the Church office.

Part of Trinity’s Mission Statement for our 150th anniversary is to “rededicate our presence in the village of Berwyn by enhancing our facilities and outreach”, and as such any proceeds from this event will go towards outreach in Berwyn and throughout the world.
