Why was the car park at the racecourse not opened for parking as I believe it was last year? I went to collect my 93 year old almost blind mother,who also has walking difficulties and could not park anywhere near my house near Town Fields. Cars were parked very irresponsibly on corners, on pavements and driving and walking was dangerous for local residents. We have no drives to park in and it is very frustrating when we cannot park anywhere near our own homes. I had to double park, blocking the road, while I took my mother indoors and then had to find a parking space streets away to park my car.
