Race Description

6. Bad Harzburger Bergmarathon, May, 26th 2012

Details of the course:
The track leads through the Nationalpark Harz on forrest path. Short distances are on asphalt. Characteristics of the routes are long climbs and downhill-sections. The Marathon is two laps of the Half-Marathon-Route.
All routes are marked. If you leave the route, you can not be rated. Control points are established. Ca. all 5 kilometres are food/drink stations.
The Half- and Marathonroutes are very demanding.

Timekeeping:
The Timekeeping is via bibchip. The chip is integrated in the starter.

Entry Fees:
Till 31st March 2012 you pay:
Halfmarathon 13,- €
Marathon 18,- €

Till 21st May:
Halfmarathon 18,- €
Marathon 23,- €

Directly on 25th and 26th May at the competition venue:
Halfmarathon 20,- €
Marathon 25,- €

Prices:
The fastest runner on the Marathondistance receives a trophy. The 3 best runners (female and male) receive cash prices of totally 1.000,- €.
