Race Description

Join the Prince George’s Running Club (PGRC) for Springburst’s 39th year. This event features a 10K (6.2 mile) out-and-back course. The race will take place on the historic Washington, Baltimore and Annapolis (WB&A) Trail. The WB&A Trail runs along the site of the former Washington, Baltimore and Annapolis Railroad. With its light rolling hills, the trail is excellent for runners of all levels and a nice trail for the whole family.
Every participant will receive a unique Springburst T-shirt designed by PGRC, enhancing their race-day experience, and a race medal. This race is part of the prestigious Maryland RRCA’s Grand Prix Series!
Have a young one??? Bring them out to join us on the course. As part of our Springburst activities, we will host a free one-mile fun run for children 12 and under. Led by our fun mascots, each participant in the Kids Fun Run will receive a finisher’s medal and fun post run treat.
