Race Description
It’s a race where temperatures soar past 40º. The heat is stifling and many of the participants rate it as the hardest they’ve ever done.
To be happy and one of the finalists in this race, you need to have a real capacity for autonomy, be self-sufficient and know how to navigate the entire route using a GPS device.
With the PT281 Ultramarathon we cross an entire region of inland Portugal: Beira Baixa. It’s a region with a moderate climate for most of the year, but which is especially hot and torrid in July.
