Tempo Run Timing & Events is pleased to co-host, along with the North Township Trustee’s Office, the 2nd Annual Cinco de Mayo Fiesta 5K at Wicker Memorial Park in Highland, Indiana.
Tempo Run Timing & Events is dedicated to continuing to expand the running community in Northwest Indiana with unique and memorable events. Our mission is to sponsor, host, and direct fun, interactive events while making lasting memories for both runners and walkers alike.

Fiesta 5kCinco de Mayo Fiesta 5k includes: – DJ Ricky from 4:00 pm-5:00 pm to get you ready to run! – Fiesta 5k Race day T-shirt, Custom event “koozie” can cooler – Multiple pull tabs on the bottom of your bib, redeemable for different items and raffles!- 1 Free Beer (21+)/Beverage provided by Dining Solutions by Wicker Park in the Social Center after the race!- 1 free Raffle entry (additional entries can be purchased on site)- Food! We got pork tacos with all the fixings 😋 Free for all participants (Family and friends are welcome to eat for a $10 cash contribution per person)- Prizes for Top 3 Overall M/F, including gift cards from Fleet Feet Schererville ($100, $50, and $25 for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, respectively)- Awards for Top 3 M/F in each Age Group! (14 & Under, 15-20, 21-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+)
**This race will be professionally timed by Tempo Run Timing. Results will be available on the website shortly after the finish**

All the fun, without the runGrab your race bib, toe the starting line, then skip right to the best part… the after party!Cinco de Mayo 0.0 Mile “Run” includes: – DJ Ricky starting at 4:00 pm to get you ready to (not) run!- A unique start/finish line experience like no other race – “0.0” magnet for your car (or wherever you’d like to proudly display your achievement)- Fiesta 5k custom event “koozie” can cooler – Multiple pull tabs on the bottom of your bib, redeemable for different items and raffles!- 1 Free Beer (21+)/Beverage provided by Dining Solutions by Wicker Park in the Social Center after the race!- 1 free Raffle entry (additional entries can be purchased on site)- Food! Kids are welcome to participate in the 5k if they can handle the distance!
