Life is Better at North Beach!
LIVE or REMOTE options available. The 5th Annual North Beach 5K Run/Walk in Racine will take place on July 17, 2021 at North Beach Oasis. Come out and enjoy the run, follow it up with a swim at one of the most beautiful beaches this side of Lake Michigan while refreshing yourself with a nice cold brew compliments of 5Kevents.org. Each participant is provided a free beverage, snacks, T-shirt, facemask and goodie bag.

Course description:
This out and back course starts at the North Beach Oasis. Heading North on the paved bike trail, you have the beautiful view of Lake Michigan on your right, including North Beach which was most recently voted #4 in USA Today’s 2016 Reader’s Choice 10 Best Freshwater Beaches. Continuing then onto Michigan Blvd, turn around and come back to the finish.
Get your friends, co-workers, family, and relatives together for this fun, relaxing day in Downtown Racine! THIS IS A FUN RUN – Friendly competition is encouraged!
FRIDAY –July 16, 2021 – PRE-RACE PACKET PICK UP: Friday from 3 to 5:00 PM at the 5Kevents.org Resource Center in Downtown Racine – 215 6th Street, Racine, WI 53403 – Stop in and pick up your Race Swag, etc. NOTE: Mask is required to enter.
SATURDAY – July 17, 2020 – RACE DAY: 7:30 am
Directions to start:
Start/Finish location at the North Beach Oasis. Going east on Barker Street, turn left on Hoffert Drive. There will be flags indicating the start line as well as a banner that shows where the finish will be. These will both be located on the bike path in front of the North Beach Oasis.
Parking:
The parking lot at the Oasis as well as ample additional parking nearby.

Awards: Top three male and female will be recognized with recognition pins as well as the top male and female in respective 5 year age groups.

Additional info
Every participant will receive a custom finisher medal. Child, youth, and “no swag” registrations do not include the t-shirt but can be purchased during the registration process. All of those options do still receive a finisher medal.
Packet pickup:
Pre Race Packet Pick Up – Pick up Friday before the race at the 5Kevents.org Resource Center. 215 6th Street in Downtown Racine (Off Monument Square) between 2pm and 5:30pm –
Race Day Packet Pick Up- Pick up race bibs and packets on Saturday Morning at the event.
