Was a bit disappointed with no distance markers and only one water stop at 5K mark on what was a very warm morning!
Also running through the Saltmine with salty air wasnt the best.
Nice scenery though and can only improve as this was the first one.
Could not believe that an £18 chipped race had no distance markers. I like to pace myself and store my data on computer so the race was very disappointing for me.
Saw no sense in queuing at the end (imagine doing this for the Great North Run?)
More water stations?
Very picturesque race.
Hi,
Please could you let me know if you are able to walk the 10K Winsford Run or not? As my aunt and I do want to do this for our own personal challenge but walking/jogging only. Also, is there a minimum you need to raise for charity or can we pay the entrance fee and then complete this for our own acheivement.
