Race Description

Anyone touched by lung cancer knows why we are doing this. Lung cancer is one of the deadliest diseases affecting our world today, and while statistics have improved over the past few years, we are still losing too many loved ones. This walk and rally event is in honor of those living with lung cancer, and in memory of those who lost their battle with lung cancer.

Event Coordinator Melissa Fosco walks in memory of her mother-in-law, Sue Fosco, and believes a time will come when we will see an end to lung cancer. Through the help of all those involved in this event, we can raise money for lung cancer research, which focuses not only on treatment but also on early detection, which is one of the key components of surviving lung cancer. Thank you for joining in the fight to end lung cancer!
