Race Description

The Run Bike Run is an exciting and challenging event over a total distance of 50km. Participants can compete as individuals or in teams of 3 with each member completing one of the components.

The race comprises of a 10km run, 35km bike ride and 5km run to finish. The first section of the event (10km run) will be run concurrently with the main Worcester City 10k (route map can be found on the 10k route map page). On approaching the finish line of the 10k at Worcester Racecourse all participants in the Run Bike Run will be marshaled to the transition area to either transit onto their bike or hand over to their team member on leg 2.

Similarly on returning from the bike section participants will return to the transition area at the racecourse and will then hand over or complete 5km run section.

All participants will be required to deliver their own bike and equipment to the transition area in good time before the scheduled start line. The ride section is on an undulating course primarily on country lanes but should be suitable for both road and mountain bikes. More details will be announced in due course.

Helmets must be worn by all participants on the ride section. Water and feed stations will be available on all sectors of the event. Details will be announced closer to the event.
