Race Description

The ever popular Watford 10k returns in 2014, with a return to its favourite setting amongst the bluebells in Cassiobury Park, Watford.

The race, organised by Watford Round Table and Watford Mencap will, once again, be looking to attract runners of all abilities, from experienced athletes to those new to running.

In addition to the main 10k race, there is a timed 3k race for younger athletes as well as a 1k children’s run. Every child that raises over £25 will be eligible to enter a draw to win a family ticket for the Harry Potter Tour

The race attracts over 1,000 participants and usually sells out – so an early entry is advised.
Prizes/trophies in 10k for 1st, 2nd & 3rd Male and Female; 1st in age categories from Junior to Vet 8

1st Male & Female affiliated Team (3 to count).

Race Village with Toilets, Refreshments and Trade Stands.

All proceeds will go to Watford Mencap and Watford Round Table.

Watford Mencap’s Children’s Centre in Watford provides school clubs, play schemes, nursery groups, a youth club and toy library for over 150 children with learning disabilities in the Watford and South West Herts area.

Watford Round Table donates money to local charities, voluntary groups and individuals for whom help is not always readily available.

These donations make a huge difference and we hope you will give generously to these worthy causes.
