Race Description

Temecula Valley, the newest destination in the Wine Country Half Marathon Series, is centrally located in the heart of Southern California. In fact, Temecula has earned its reputation as Southern California’s wine country. It’s the perfect wine country escape, nestled quietly among rolling hills and vineyards. With ideal fall temperatures and miles of open space, Temecula is an outdoor enthusiasts dream. This new 13.1 mile course starts and finishes at South Coast Winery Resort & Spa, a luxurious full-service property that will host our post-race Wine & Music Festival. The course runs past orchards, horse farms, vineyards and no less than eighteen wineries, ranging from small producers to large production and resort properties. The event expo is held in the City Center, adjacent to historic Old Town, where many of Temecula’s favorite shops and restaurants reside. Be sure to bring family and friends and expect a lively three-day weekend packed with fun activities showcasing some of Temecula’s finest venues, sights and culinary experiences.
