Race Description

The Stone St Michael’s 10K is taking place on Sunday 24th June 2012.

10.00am start from St Michael’s First School, Weaver’s Lane, Stone. ST15 8QB.

Runners please assemble in Weaver’s Lane by 9.50am.

Male and Female changing and toilet facilities are available at the school, but no showers. We have a supervised security room in which you can leave your kit. The route is a fully marshaled and coned off 2 lap course along the A51 and A34 with lead motorbike and back-up vehicle.

We have one of the UK’s fastest and flattest courses where PB’s are almost guaranteed. We have prizes for all age groups, a £50 course record prize and a medal to all finishers. Prizes will be presented as soon as possible after the race in the school hall

Our event incorporates the school’s summer fate which includes a children’s fun run, stalls and a super selection of homemade cakes before and after the race; bring the whole family along

THE 2012 race limit is 600. We have reached our race limit before race day for the last 4 years therefore entry on the day is not guaranteed.

Entrants must be at least 15 years of age on race day (24th June 2012). Our course is unsuitable for wheelchairs. Use of MP3 / other music players is strictly prohibited for safety reasons, any runners found using music players will be disqualified
