Race Description

Run10K Leeds – part of the Cancer Research Run10K Autumn race series, which welcomes men as well as women.

Starting and finishing on the lawn in front the house, this is a beautiful course looping through the picturesque Harewood Estate, including the deer park and a conservation area not normally open to the public. There are also views of Harewood lake and the scenic wharfe valley.

The terrain is mixed and can be rough in places including grass, stone tracks and tarmac. The course is hilly with the most demanding climb at around the 8k point. This is a challenging but highly rewarding run in a stunning setting.

Most of Harewood’s many visitor attractions, such as the bird garden, giant adventure playground and lake cruises are freely available to both runners and spectators for the full day.

Please arrive an hour before the start of your Run 10k event. There will be a stretch and warm-up half an hour before your run.
