Race Description

Run10K Bristol – part of the Cancer Research Run10K Autumn race series, which welcomes men as well as women.

The entrance to the site is from the church lodge entrance of Ashton Court. The course starts from the internal path that leads up to the Mansion house and after running down the hill you head left along a track which runs up into the woods. After a short hilly section you wind your way up through the trees and forest, coming out near the golf course. You then run around a couple of open fields before heading off down a track past the quarry, returning up the same track and down past the golf course.

There are a couple of hills in the first half of the route but the second half is mostly flat and downhill. The terrain is mostly mud and gravel tracks and grass. Ashton Court is a beautiful estate and the scenery on this route is lovely with views of Bristol and fields of deer. The route can be challenging at times but achievable for all abilities.

Please arrive an hour before the start of your Run 10k event. There will be a stretch and warm-up half an hour before your run.
