Race Description

Until Thursday 21st August Starfish is offering FREE registration for the Royal Parks Half Marathon. This is your chance to join the Starfish team for this popular run through London’s beautiful Royal Parks on Sunday 12th October 2014.

Starting in Hyde Park, the course takes runners on a scenic route through Kensington Gardens, Green Park and St James’s Park. You will pass London’s iconic landmarks such as the Houses of Parliament, Buckingham Palace, the London Eye and the Royal Albert Hall. With paths lined with cheering crowds, this is an atmospheric race and certainly a day to remember.

With a fairly flat course it’s as great for experienced runners chasing a fast time as it is for runners looking to complete their first half marathon.

Aim to raise £300 and help Starfish bring life, hope and opportunity to vulnerable children in South Africa.

The sponsorship raised from this event will fund the running costs of our newly launched Wellness Wagon; a mobile testing clinic that provides quality healthcare services to children living in rural communities.

We will help you be a star by providing training tips, fundraising ideas, an exclusive Starfish branded running vest, cheering support on the day and finish line refreshments.

Email stephanie.kitson@starfishcharity.org or call 0207 597 3797 to secure your place in the team today!
