Race Description

Nuclear Fallout is our beast…

The wetter, colder & muddier race; the one you need to train for – take it for granted and it will bite you. It’s our last event of the year so we throw everything at it – not only is it longer at an 8km or 16km distance, but we also include all the obstacles.

Hypothermia isn’t uncommon; cuts, bruises, scrapes and sores are all abundant…

We’ve 60+ natural & man-made obstacles built on hilly, undulating farmland & heavy Essex Clay – so duck-taping your trainers on isn’t a bad idea! We’ve designed the course with classics for everyone such as: walls, ramps, water wades, ditches, trenches, pipes, crawls & cargo nets but also thrown in huge and exciting obstacles built to thrill: The Nuclear Slide, 100 metre monkey-bars, zip wires over water and more…For those out to smash the course fastest; enter the Elite Onslaught wave for a chance to win prize money.

Run together with like- minded people of all ages, backgrounds & athletic abilities and be pushed to your limits both mentally & physically. It will be exhilarating, challenging and extremely tough. This event is chip-timed, all entrants receive a Nuclear medal, Tshirt & muddy mug of hot tea on finishing. Fancy dress is encouraged – the more outrageous the better! As well as racing as an individual – group entries are very welcome as our events provide an awesome, unforgettable team building opportunity.

Spectators and car-parking are free. We have made sure there are dedicated viewing areas with great access for your family and friends to watch. We always look after our runners; mains connected water stations, marshalls and emergency medics are on site & the course.
