The events are open to walkers, race walkers, joggers, runners and participants of all fitness levels, ages and abilities.
This year the event – which is sponsored by Chewits in partnership with Fylde Coast YMCA – will take place on Sunday, 1st November along one of Britain’s most beautiful coastlines, St Annes on Sea in Lancashire. There will be five separate events along the promenade and the entire amount of cash raised without any deductions whatsoever will go to CLIC Sargent, the UK’s leading cancer charity for children and Brian House which is a children’s hospice in Bispham.
Monster Dash 2009 is a great way to have lots of fun and raise money for a fantastic charity. You can either run in your favourite Halloween costume or come and compete for one of the top three places in the appropriate event for you.
Money will be raised by competitors in all the races by way of sponsorships from friends and family and paying a nominal registration fee.
There is something for everyone across all ages and spectators are more than welcome to support the competitors.
Descriptions of the five events are shown in the Race Info section of this website.
Please note that Monster Dash 2009 is a rain or shine event – not even the weather will get in the way!! – so please plan accordingly.
