ARCHIVED RACE: Ikano Robin Hood Half Marathon 2012 @ Victoria Embankment, Nottingham, East Midlands, UK on 30 September 2012

The Ikano Robin Hood Half Marathon is in its 32nd year and takes place on 30th September 2012, starting and finishing on Victoria Embankment, Nottingham.

A new flatter faster route has been unveiled for 2012, taking runners through the city centre, the university grounds and along the River Trent. Organisers say that it’s an ideal course for beginners as well as faster runners looking for a PB. Entry fees remain unchanged at £27.75 for UKA affiliated club runners and £29.75 for all other runners, including a medal and a goody bag at the finish.

The Ikano Robin Hood Mini Marathon takes place again too, encouraging people of all ages and abilities to run, walk or jog a 1.5 mile course and be part of race day. The Mini Marathon will also feature the Schools Challenge which is open to all schools in the surrounding area with prizes to the winning schools in various age categories. Entry fee for the Ikano Robin Hood Mini Marathon is £6.75 including a free t-shirt.
