Race Description

Realise your potential and run a PB in Edinburgh in 2014 AND during the Year of Homecoming!

Whether you are looking to break four hours for the first time, raise money for charity or regularly break 2hrs 30mins, all entrants run to achieve a goal or finish in a personal best time.

Edinburgh provides a stunning back drop to this IAAF accredited race event. The historic city including Edinburgh Castle and the beautiful East Lothian looks forward to welcoming you!

This prestigious and highly sought after event offers all runners the chance to achieve – it’s fast and flat. With an overall elevation drop of almost 40m the EMF has the fastest marathon route in the UK but you need to be quick to get your place, entries are on a first-come, first-served basis and have sold out every year since 2008.
