Its often a pain getting to and from popular races, but good to hear it was well attended and the event went well.

Great event as usual, but what a shame that for spectators it was not so easy to get to. The train from Westbury was so full at Trowbridge that it could not pick anybody up at Bradford on Avon. And waiting at Bath to return the Paddington train was so full that many could not get on. Surely a few extra carriages would not have been a problem?

Trowbridge are running their 10K on 11th April details on the website trowbridgelions.org

with so much on the news all the time about us in scotland being unhealthy, its good to see a few men over the age of 25 getting (back) into running! Good effort.

Only advice is take the first one easy, then you have a nice marker to aim for with your next.

Also, a good PB over 10KM in Scotland is the inverness marathon 10K race as it features a lot of downhill – it is at the end of the summer (October from memory – will check!!) too, so you can work up to it.

Leave a comment when you have done this race with how you get on.
