Race Description

There’s races, and then there’s events. If you want both, or just a fun day in the foothills, then the Camp Eden 5k is the day for you. Runners enjoy the challenge the Camp Eden 5k presents. Running at 8800 feet elevation will challenge any level of runner. But the course is easy enough that even amateur runners have a chance to be competitive. We get that not everyone is a runner though, so if you’d rather walk the 5k, we work in a way for you to do that. Or maybe you have little ones that can’t do a full 5k. For those folks, we offer the Donut Run, a one mile run/walk with a donut breakfast reward at the finish line! Whether you are a professional runner or simply a family seeking some time in the mountains, the Camp Eden 5k has a race that fits you. We don’t stop with just races. Beginning at 9:00 AM, the Canyon Carnival, an event with candy prizes, face painting, balloon animals, and tons of fun games, will give children and adults who are not participating in the races something to enjoy. Immediately following the Awards Ceremony, everyone is also invited to enjoy an outdoor cookout with hamburgers, hot dogs, sides, and dessert. The Carnival will continue through lunch until 2:00 PM, and feature the opportunity to ride our 300 ft. zipwire, try out mountain boarding, and continue to win prizes at the other games. We’ve got something for everyone at the Camp Eden 5k.
