Race-Calendar.com was launched at the beginning of September 2009, and has proved popular with race organisers as a way to promote their events to a wider audience, and, particularly, with our fellow runners as a great free (and registration free) race finding and entry resource.
Race-Calendar.com contains race listings which provide simple links to everything you need to enter a race, preview it, find how to get to the start line, review it and discover the online results in one place.
Our idea is to allow people to discover new races across the world freely, and also to provide a means of finding race results and online entry quickly and easily – we freely link to other sites in order to provide the best race listing for users.
We also want to support the hundreds of small running clubs who organise fantastic events all over the world by finding them new participants who might not otherwise have discovered club-organised events, by providing them with a globally recognised, simple to use, registration-free promotional website.
Lastly, for those of you who love running, we want to make it as easy as possible to plan your next race, to rate the races you have just run, and to leave your comments on any you are thinking about entering.
We don’t want anyone to have to register to use anything on Race-Calendar.com.
